Convert a PDF table to Excel
Tables from invoices, reports and statements as spreadsheet rows.
How it works
Your file is opened in an isolated sandbox with no internet access, processed, and the sandbox is destroyed. Nothing is stored, and no account is needed.
It uses the same reader as the full product, which is built for the spreadsheets people actually have: headers that are not on row 1, merged cells, totals rows pasted at the bottom, dates in two formats, and numbers stored as text. Everything it changes is listed back to you.
Common questions
How do I convert a table in a PDF to Excel?
Upload the PDF and download the .xlsx. Each table becomes a sheet, and a table that continues onto the next page is joined into one.
Does it work when the table has no lines?
Yes. Ruled tables are read first; tables whose columns are lined up with spaces, like most bank statements, are read by their headings and alignment.
Can it read a scanned PDF?
No: a scan is an image with no text in it. Use the PDF the software or website produced.
Are the numbers usable in formulas?
Yes. Thousands separators and currency signs are removed, so the amounts are numbers, not text.
