Total Revenue and Units by Product, Best Sellers First

For shop owners and sales managers who want to see which products bring in the money. Upload a CSV sales export with one row per sale, with Product, Quantity and Amount columns.

You get a table of total revenue and units per product, highest first, with a grand total row. Products under your low-revenue threshold are flagged, and a bar chart compares revenue by product.

A real result, on the sample file

Grouped the rows by Product (trimming stray spaces in names) and summed Amount as Total revenue and Quantity as Units, sorted by revenue from highest. Products with revenue under 1500 are flagged 'Yes'. A final Total row sums all products; it is left out of the chart.

How to use it

  1. 1Export the month's sales as a CSV with one row per sale, including the Product, Quantity and Amount columns.
  2. 2Check that Amount and Quantity hold plain numbers. Rows with no product name are left out.
  3. 3Set the low-revenue threshold. Any product whose total revenue is under this amount is flagged 'Yes'.
  4. 4Read the table from the top: the best sellers come first, and the last row gives the overall totals. The bar chart compares revenue across products.

Common questions

What file do I need to upload?

A CSV export with one row per sale, such as sales-july.csv. It needs a Product column, a Quantity column and an Amount column. Amount and Quantity should hold plain numbers. Rows without a product name are left out.

What if my columns are named differently, like Item or Total?

You can point the tool to the right columns. For example, map Item to Product and Total to Amount. You can also rename the headers in your spreadsheet to Product, Quantity and Amount before exporting.

How does the low-revenue flag work?

You set a threshold, for example 1500. Any product whose total revenue for the file is below that amount is marked 'Yes' in the flag column. Everything else is marked 'No'.

Is my sales data kept private, and what does it cost?

Your file is used only to build your report and is not shared. Each run costs 2 credits.
