Find Low-Stock SKUs at Each Location, Lowest First

For store owners and warehouse managers who need to know what to reorder at each site. Upload your inventory CSV with SKU, On hand and Location columns, and set a low-stock limit such as 50.

You get every SKU below that limit, grouped by location with the lowest stock first. A summary table and chart show the count of low-stock SKUs and their total units per location.

A real result, on the sample file

Kept rows where On hand is below 50, sorted by Location (A–Z), then On hand ascending, then SKU. The summary counts those SKUs and adds up their On hand per Location, with a total row checked against the detail table.

How to use it

  1. 1Export your current inventory list as a CSV. It needs columns named SKU, On hand and Location.
  2. 2Check that On hand contains plain numbers (no text like 'n/a') and that every row has a Location filled in.
  3. 3Set the low-stock limit. Only SKUs with fewer units on hand than this number are listed, so raise it to catch more items or lower it to see only the most urgent ones.
  4. 4Read the main table location by location. Within each location, the SKUs with the lowest stock are at the top. The summary shows the count of low-stock SKUs and their total units per location, with a grand total at the bottom.

Common questions

What file do I need to upload?

A CSV export of your current inventory with one row per SKU and location. It needs three columns: SKU, On hand and Location. Other columns are fine and will be ignored.

What if my columns are named differently, like 'Qty' or 'Warehouse'?

Rename them to SKU, On hand and Location in your spreadsheet before exporting the CSV. Also make sure On hand holds plain numbers with no text like 'n/a', and that every row has a Location filled in.

Does a SKU exactly at the limit count as low stock?

No. Only SKUs with fewer units than the limit are listed. With a limit of 50, a SKU with 49 on hand appears and one with 50 does not. Raise the limit by one if you want to include it.

Is my inventory data kept private, and what does it cost?

Your file is used only to build your report and is not shared. Each run costs 2 credits.
